General Commitments

  • Parents/Guardians agree to respect all the current COVID-19 safety measures at the school as outlined here.
  • Children ages 4-10 can participate in the CARE programme. Children ages 7-12 can participate in the CAMPS programme. 
  • The language spoken at camp is English, so a basic knowledge is a prerequisite. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you confirm the ability of your child to have sufficient language skills for participation in the ISH Summer Programme. 
  • Registration is on a first come, first served basis. 
  • Waitlists are available for each summer care/camp week. The waitlist will be added to the summer programme portal when a camp is close to being fully booked. 
  • On 12th June, 2022 under enrolled classes may be cancelled. Families will be notified if cancelled classes affect their registration. 
  • Families need to pay the entire balance at the time of registration.
  • Children maintaining the highest standard of conduct is required at all times. Using profanity, disparaging dialogues, physical violence or threats during participation in the ISH Summer Programme is strictly prohibited. The programme rules and instructions from staff must be followed at all times.
  • The school reserves the right, at their discretion, to withdraw any student whose influence or actions are deemed unsatisfactory, dangerous or incompatible to the Summer Programme community or who will not live within the rules and policies of the Summer CARE/CAMPS programme. If this occurs, no reduction or return of the Summer Programme fee will be made. The Expectations and Guidelines for Electives apply to the Summer Programme. 
  • In the event that a parent cannot be reached in an emergency when a child is under ISH Summer Programme supervision, by accepting these Terms and Conditions, the parent gives permission to call the National emergency number (112) and secure proper treatment for the child as needed.
  • Parents must inform the ISH Summer Programme office of any particular medical notes, allergies or dietary needs of their child(ren) when registering their child. 
  • ISH Staff is not authorized to dispense any medicine to children. 
  • All your child’s personal belongings are their own responsibility unless loss or damage is proven to be due to ISH Summer Programme negligence. Expensive and treasured items such as jewellery, designer clothes or shoes, trainers, etc., should not be brought to the camp.
  • Unless required by the CAMPS facilitators, no electronic equipment, including but not limited to: mobile phones, computers, TVs and video games are allowed at school. 
  • Parents/Guardians agree to support ISH Summer Programme by encouraging children to abide by the highest standards of positive conduct. They will discuss constructive concerns, if any, with the ISH Summer Programme Leader.
  • Parents agree to pay for property damage caused directly, or indirectly, as a result of negligent action of their child.

Cancellation Policy

  • If a family cancels before the start of the week of CARE or CAMPS due to medical reasons that can be fully documented with a physician’s written explanation, a full refund will be sent to the participants. 
  • Cancellations before June 12th, 2022 are eligible for a refund of the tuition less a non-refundable registration fee of 300 DKK. 
  • Families cancelling after June 12th are not eligible for a refund with the exception of documented medical reasons.  Written documentation must be submitted within 10 days of cancellation.  

Privacy Notice

Participation in the ISH Summer Programme requires you to share both your and your child’s personal information with ISH, including names, email address, medical data and payment data. Below is a description of how ISH will use your information.

  • The International School of Hellerup will keep your information on file for one year. We may use your contact details to send you information about next year’s Summer Programme. 
  • The International School of Hellerup will use personal information collected for the purpose of proactive communication and running of the Summer CARE or CAMPS week your child is enrolled in.
  • ISH Summer Programme employees will be able to access your information if their work reasonably requires access.

At all times you have the right to access your data and to amend or delete your personal information or to withdraw consent for collection and processing of your personal information. Respective collection and processing of your personal information is voluntary based. Not consenting to respective data collection and processing or withdrawing consent results in ISH not being able to conclude/continue the Summer Programme with you.
